Overview
Non-professional sporting teams and individuals from most countries can now apply for insurance to cover sports events while visiting Thailand and travelling to other destinations worldwide. This insurance is designed to meet the travel and health insurance requirements for travellers and includes cover for COVID-19, sporting accidents, and other illnesses. This product has been specifically designed to meet the needs of an individual who requires International Travel Insurance starting from their country of residence to anywhere in the world.

Customers who are largely resident in overseas countries on a temporary basis or are expatriates.

What does this insurance include?
- Medical & Related expenses: £6,500,000 / $8,000,000
- Coverage for a host of non-professional sports (including amateur rugby, amateur Australian Rules football, and amateur soccer) and illnesses
- Baggage & Personal Effects: £2,500 / $3,000
- Travel Delay: £100 / $125 per insured person per trip up to a maximum of £250 / $300
- Includes cover for COVID-19
- Personal Accident / AD&D: £25,000 / $30,000
- Personal Liability: £2,500,000 / $3,000,000
- Winter Sports: Optional Benefit (see Website for details)
- Adventure Sports: Optional Benefit (see Website for details)
Premiums start at USD $95 (minimum 7 days) – depending on your age.

Exclusions and Restrictions
Exclusions related to sport
- Participation in professional sports.
What is not insured?
- Coverage excludes all pre-existing conditions.
- Accidents or incidents occurring whilst involved in any hazardous activities unless listed in the plan agreement
- Aviation (except as a passenger on a fully licensed multi-engine passenger aircraft)
- Use of mopeds or motorcycles over 125cc
- Self-inflicted injuries, suicide, and injuries caused by alcohol or drugs
- Circumstances manifesting before the commencement of your cover, including medical conditions
- Criminal or unlawful acts
- Expenses that are recoverable from any other source

Are there any restrictions on cover?
- The maximum age for cover is 79 years of age for annual trips
- The maximum age for cover is 84 years of age for single trips
- Maximum trip duration of 45 days for those 75 years old and over
- Policy benefits excess/deductibles as shown on the benefit schedule
- Medical treatment related to drug, solvent, or alcohol abuse
- Circumstances manifesting before the commencement of your cover
- Hazardous Activities – other than any sport or leisure activity listed page 5 of the policy wording document
- There is no cover within your Country of Residence
- Travel to an area that, at the time of booking, the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office are advising against all travel to.

What to do in an emergency – Important telephone numbers
To comply with the terms and conditions of this insurance you must contact the 24-hour Emergency Assistance Centre if you require inpatient treatment, MRI or CT scans, medical evacuation, or repatriation. In the case of an emergency where you are physically prevented from contacting Journeyman immediately, you or someone designated by you must contact Journeyman within 48 hours, otherwise they may not pay your claim.

Claims Information
How is billing and claim settled in the event of treatment at a hospital?
In the event you need to make a claim, check your policy to see if you’re covered and what documentation is needed. You can request a claim form by quoting your insurance certificate number. Claims can be made while traveling or after returning home, but always adhere to claim requirements.
For medical claims, the Assistance Service will confirm if your treatment or expenses are covered and can liaise with hospitals. For minor expenses, it might be easier to pay yourself and submit a claim later. Keep all receipts and medical reports.
