The Cigna Close Plan offers comprehensive coverage, including COVID-19, and is designed for individuals of ALL AGES seeking superior health insurance in Thailand.
Ideal for retirees of any age, this plan requires no health check and has an easy application process.
This plan meets the Thai Government Regulations requiring foreigners entering Thailand to have health insurance that covers a minimum of $100,000 USD for medical treatments including Covid-19 for the entire duration of their stay
The Cigna Close Care plan also provides coverage in your country of nationality or Asia (Not including China, Hong Kong, and Singapore) for 180 days a year,
This means you only pay for coverage where you need it most, in the country you will be living in and when you return home for temporary visits.
Cigna will provide you and your family with a certificate showing health insurance of 100,000 USD which includes cover for COVID-19 to comply with visa/travel requirements.
For additional peace of mind, the Cigna Close Care plan includes emergency medical cover when you are visiting a location outside your area of coverage. This means you are covered on an inpatient, daypatient basis, or outpatient basis (if the Outpatient and Wellness Care option has been purchased) during temporary trips, even if those trips are outside the area of coverage.
Coverage is limited to a maximum period of 21 days per trip and a maximum of 45 days per period of cover for all trips combined.

Cost share options: 0%, 10%, 20% or 30%
Cost share is where you agree to pay a percentage of the medical bill for each claim.
Out of Pocket Maximum options: $2,000, $3,000 or $5,000 (to help reduce the premium)
Out of Pocket Maximum is the max amount of cost-share you agree to pay per period of cover.
