Thai Expat Health makes it EASY for foreigners to obtain medical insurance for the Certificate of Health Insurance to enter Thailand. Our aim is to get the process completed for you in the FASTEST possible time with a MINIMUM of fuss. Our service is FREE and you benefit from our help and experience.
Please find the brochure document and an application for the Pacific Cross Visa Friendly Plan which is one of the most popular low-cost plans on offer at the moment. It has been specifically designed to meet the Thai Government Regulations requiring foreigners entering Thailand to have health insurance that covers a minimum of $100,000 USD for medical treatments including Covid-19 for the entire duration of their stay. The policy is approved by the Office of Insurance Commission in Thailand and is cheaper than most other plans on offer at this time.
If you are ready to go ahead,
- please complete the application form, entering a mailing address in THAILAND.
- Take a picture of the front page of your PASSPORT.
- Email the completed application and passport picture to [email protected].
Our team will assist you through the process to ensure that your documents are complete and your application receives the best possible consideration in the fastest time. Note that there is a large number of applications in the system at the moment, so please submit your application early to avoid delays.
The entire process normally takes between 10-14 days depending on how quickly you can submit your application, answer questions from underwriting, and transfer payment for the premium. Once payment is received, PACIFIC CROSS will issue your policy and the Certificate of Health Insurance which you need to present when applying for entry into Thailand.
Please see the following table for the pricing. * From page 5 (2nd last page) of the Brochure document (attached) for INPATIENT (IPD) versus INPATIENT + OUTPATIENT (IPD + OPD) PRICING. Most people choose the INPATIENT ONLY OPTION. There are also several deductible options (300K, 200K, 100K, 40K, and 20K) available. Note: A deductible is an amount you agree to pay in the event of a claim before the insurance company pays for any treatment.
If you simply want the insurance to meet the requirements for entry and don’t think you are likely to need any kind of medical treatment over the year you could opt for the highest deductible option of 300K which can reduce the cost of your premium by up to 50%. Alternatively, if you want more peace of mind and security, that if you do fall ill or need medical treatment you can more easily afford treatment then you may consider choosing having no deductible or perhaps only a 20K THB (which would reduce the cost of your premium by 15%). The choice is yours.
If you need more information or would like us to provide you with a quotation, please send us the age of the applicant(s), the coverage option (IPD or IPD + OPD), and the deductible option which you feel comfortable with.
